    HowNew!?

I often went on rides and would hit a road that was unfamiliar. But had I really been on that road before? I didn't know. This solves that problem.

I would be riding down a road and take a turn. Maybe the houses looked different or maybe I didn't recognize the corner. I'd think to myself as I pedaled down the road, "Is this a new one for me?"

It was generally a passing thought, though occasionally it bothered me.

Then I started following Alison Jackson on Strava. Most of her ride descriptions included little blurbs like, "18.2km of new roads!"

I did a bit of research and found out she was using an application called Wandrer. I poked around with it a bit, but it seemed overkill for what I actually wanted. I just wanted something to spit out that final number of new roads.

So that's what I built. You can upload your rides, runs, walks, drives, etc and it will tell you how much of that last activity did not overlap somewhere you've already been.

Currently you can start tracking and you'll get your new kilometre counts going forwards from there. I suspect an eventual premium feature will be to load your backlog of GPX files or whatever to put your historical data in. That's for the future.

Regardless, if this sounds interesting to you, check it out.
